Need For Speed is coming back with its latest instalment NFS Unbound. The game will be released on December 2.
Need For Speed is coming back to your PC and consoles this December! The popular car racing franchise has been absent from the global gaming scene for two years and after a slew of blockbuster launches from rival titles, EA’s star racer wants to offer car racing in a different flavour. The game will be released on December 2 across PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms this year.
Need For Speed Unbound is another attempt by the franchise to go back to its roots, allowing players to customise their vehicles and experience the thrilling cop chases that previous titles in the franchise were known for. The game brings a new graffiti art style to the gameplay, bringing nike style animations for a cooler look. It also features rap sensation A$AP as the lead protagonist of the story missions, whom you need to beat to unlock the game’s star car, a customised Mercedes Benz 190E.
NFS Unbound launch: All you need to know
The game lets you earn points with an exuberant driving style, and even lets players place bets on your own earnings against rival racers. Players will be able to earn cash to enter several weekly qualifiers and make it to the main race, called The Grand.
Other than street races, Need For Speed also brings back cop chases to the mix, with players required to use their driving skills to make the most out of Lakeshore city, or its underground streets. Evading the cops successfully will help you reap the rewards. The game will also allow players to pull up at a Meetup and show off their unique cars as well as the characters wearing iconic gear from fashion brands.
Need For Speed Unbound will be compatible with most gaming PCs featuring at least an NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti GPU, 8GB RAM, and a 8th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. PC players will also be able to enjoy features such as a Variable Refresh Rate, HDR10 compatibility, support for DLSS, and double the simulation rate of NFS Heat.
Right now, Need For Speed Unbound is available for pre-orders at a price of Rs. 3499. The Palace Edition can be pre-booked for Rs. 4299.
