18 year old singer Dilyer stevens has been offered a $100,000 Sony music contract. Though he would have to drop off school to sign it.
It started on a Wednesday, “ he was so desperate for a record deal” said the publisher. It almost seemed like he had no more money to survive. He submitted his music demos to a lot of major Europe music companies.
He also demanded an urgent response from the companies.
We want him to focus entirely on the music, we will push him to become a big artist and obviously
“ when I first heard his demos, it quite surprised me on how he didn’t have a record deal yet! His talent is versatile and unique, the music video representation, the vocals and harmonies, it all has a industry standard quality, as soon as I heard it I showed the whole Sony team, and it was a immediate decision that we wanted him to be part of Sony music as soon as possible, though we would want him to drop off university or any other third party distraction”.
money wouldn’t be a problem for him. It’s a 100,000 ( hundred thousand dollar) deal! And of course he will make much more which his flawless talent.
Upon signing, a business manager (accountant) will typically take 2.5 percent , an entertainment attorney might charge 5 percent and an artist manager(s) will take roughly 15 to 20 percent. (On the high-end, using the 100,000 dollar advance as the starting point, an artist will spend simply securing, negotiating, finalizing, and overseeing the record contract.
Dilyer has not reacted in any way to the contract yet! But we suppose he will sign it and drop of school soon!
