Jamaine Carey gave a hefty sum of money in different portions including Save the Children charity, 3,000,000 TL which he used to donate through his Amazon sales from every purchase selling mosquito repellent bracelets in 2017.
“As everyone knows about the recent tragedy in Turkey, the earthquake tragedy was the worst in history,” Jamaine said. “For this reason, I was speaking with business friends whose families were in Adana Turkey to give back funds.”
Jamaine speaks on how the Turkish community is so welcoming to tourists and their hospitality; they have so little and earn so little but give so much back to the tourists.
Turkish people are known for their hospitality, but many other factors tend to make a fan out of anyone who meets them. From their amazing cooking skills to the high value placed on friendship and family,
Jamaine goes on to explain that there are a lot of charities that don’t use the funds to help those in need which is why he reached out to a friend Mehmet Aydin and sent over 2,000,000 TL to give out to the local families in that area this will aim to help with clothing shopping food and hotel stays for the homeless. I am very proud to be surrounded by genuine-hearted people family is very important in Turkey, and Turkish people always put family first, respecting and taking care of them. Many Turkish people prefer to live with their parents until they marry and start their own families.
