On October 7, 2023, Palestinian militants broke through the Gaza-Israel barrier and conquered Israel’s southern district, killing more than 1,300, and Approximately 200 Israelis and foreigners are taken detainees by Palestinian militants.
Israeli military conducts airstrikes in the Gaza Strip and imposes a total blockade. This means Palestinians are cut off from water, food, and fuel. Israel ordered the evacuation of northern Gaza, including Gaza. Israel is doing this to prepare for a possible counterattack from Hezbollah from Lebanon. Israel surrounds the city of Gaza with approximately 300 thousand soldiers for a possible occupation of Gaza. Several Islamic countries such as Turkey and Iran warned Israel to drop the decision. The US insists that Israel avoid a clash with Hezbollah, otherwise the US and possibly Iran will also be involved. The US shows its support for Israel and so do the Western countries for a counter-attack against Hamas. Hamas is a Palestinian protest movement that was established in 1987. Hamas is a political party that won control of Gaza in 2007. Since then, Hamas has ousted the competitor Al Fatah and is in control. Hamas aims to eliminate the state of Israel, therefore peace will not take place as long as Hamas is in control. Hamas is allied with Iran, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah. Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah operate directly under Iran while Hamas cooperates with Iran. Hamas did not want to participate in the Syrian civil war, while Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad went in at Iran’s request. Hezbollah is powerful possesses over 100,000 rockets and also has drones.
Iran called on Arab countries to boycott Israel, but they would not agree. After the American meeting with Arab countries, they wanted an end to the conflict as quickly as possible, as they did not want the conflict to spread to their countries. This was also one of the reasons why Jordan and Egypt did not want Palestinian emigrants. Egypt chose to close its borders. Iran won a political victory in the conflict when Saudi Arabia announced that an agreement with Israel would be put on hold. To bring the situation under control, most European countries have chosen to declare Hamas a terrorist organization. This means that a demonstration for Palestine can be dismissed as support for Hamas. This is almost what we experienced in Russia during the Ukraine war, as criticizing the war became punishable by captives. At that time, the Europeans distanced themselves from Putin and called him a dictator… I am not criticizing European democracy this time as violence and direct support for violence must be forbidden, but criticizing European double standards. The war in Ukraine has dragged on a lot and now it’s about whoever holds out one more day is the winner of the war. The American president has now asked Congress to grant extra aid to Ukraine and Israel. China has assembled over 100 fighter jets and is ready for an invasion of Taiwan. The Chinese planes behave very aggressively towards the American planes but this is understandable because they see them as foreign agents flying around and gathering information. This was also the case during the Soviet era when American spies flew over the borders and took pictures. The US has brought two aircraft carriers into the Mediterranean. In response, the Russians brought their MIG 31 Aircraft with Kinzahl Missiles in the Black Sea with a range of 1000 kilometers. If there is a clash in the Gaza Strip then it will allow China to attack Taiwan as the US will probably get involved. If Israel moves into Gaza, Hezbollah, Iran, and perhaps other Islamic countries will be involved. This will cost Israel dearly as Hamas and Hezbollah have dug underground tunnels of 30-50 meters in Gaza which will allow them to carry out a long-lasting Guerrilla war. If Israel does not invade Gaza it will lose a political defeat. Israel does not dare to go to war with Iran alone and wants the United States to join. I say this because when the Iranian general Qassem Soleimani was to be dissolved, Israel withdrew the night before and the US had to carry out the attack alone. In the past, Israel has tried to get other countries to attack Iran as they did with Iraq and Saddam Hussein. Israel lied that Iraq had developed nuclear weapons. The question now is how Hamas could infiltrate Israel when Israel monitors the whole thing with satellite images. There are reports that Egypt had warned Israel but this has not been fully confirmed. This is of course not the first time that Israel has experienced an attack. In 1973, during the Yom Kippur War, Israel experienced a surprise attack from several Arab countries. There have been large demonstrations both for and against Israel in several countries. Although the Islamic countries do not want conflict and have good commercial relations with Israel, they are pressured by their population to act. Many countries have decided their side in the conflict. Although the Israeli speaker Hananya Naftali announced on social media that Israel had bombed the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, those who stood with Israel chose to close their eyes. It may well be that the purpose was to kill Hamas members, but Israel chose to bomb Gaza at short notice. A war is about reducing civilian fatality and Israel could have done that better. Israel has previously bombed schools, churches, and other places that can be considered war crimes. Several journalists have been shot. Israel has in its previous attacks destroyed the Palestinian water and electricity supplies and has since provided Palestine with water and electricity supplies. This has ensured Israel more control and more effective torture. Whenever Israel wants they can block Palestine’s food, electricity, and water. It’s like holding a group of people captive. The wall is also illegal, but Israel has argued that it is to create more security. We can discuss racism in Israel. Some believe that the 20 percent of Arabs who live in Israel have the right to vote and get jobs, so there is no question of apartheid, but in my opinion, it is a question of cultural apartheid. I confirm this claim as European Jews have better jobs in society than the others.
Ireland has shown its support for Palestine while Denmark has supported Israel. I think it is a sad development that everything has become political. Any kind of attack against humanity must be condemned by both Hamas and Israel……
Historical background
Historical evidence suggests that both Israel and Palestine have existed in the area. The Israelites worshiped Canaanite gods and were not immigrants from outside. Palestinians conquered the Palestine area during the time of the Egyptian pharaoh Ramses III. In the Iron Age, the area was divided into the Kingdom of Judah and the Kingdom of Israel. After Assyrian and Babylon, the Romans took over the areas. Under the Roman emperor Aelius Traianus Hadrian us, Jews were thrown out of Israel and the emperor changed the name of the area to Syria-Palestine. This name was later changed to Palestine. This political decision was to avert further rebellion by the Jews. Palestine became part of the Roman Empire. In the course of history, the areas are divided up and changed several times by the various dynasties. After the First World War, the Ottoman Empire was split up when the last Ottoman Sultan Abdülhamid surrendered all the territories in a declaration. This was later considered a betrayal of Turkish nationalism. Palestine became subject to the British. This was an indirect expansionism. At that time, the number of Jews was not very large. In 1917, the British had promised several Jews a home in the Balfour Declaration. This meant that many Jews began to travel to Israel as they were treated badly in Europe. It is very important to mention Jews did not want a state and wanted to integrate during the Haskalah movement but the First and Second World Wars cost many Jews their lives. The idea of a nation and nationalism was only created after the book written by Theodor Herzl. The only option now is to create a home. It had to be either somewhere in Argentina or Palestine. Palestine was chosen for religious reasons. Zionism had in mind to take over Palestine therefore they set up the Irgun Haganah movement which consisted of militant Jews and they bought up land and properties in Palestine. The conflict got worse and in 1937 the British in the Peel Commission agreed to divide Palestine. 20 percent to Jews and 80 percent to Arabs. Arabs will not accept this. They demand a limit of 15,000 Jordanian immigrants annually so that their number does not exceed the Palestinian population. In 1946, the number of Jews was 608 thousand, corresponding to half of the Palestinian population. Zionism plans attacks on British interests such as the King David Hotel and British Secret Service offices. In 1948, the British chose to withdraw from the country of Palestine to reduce their losses. The Zionist militants are temporarily added to the British terror list. The British left the Israel-Palestine conflict to the UN. The UN is trying to come up with a solution and with a view to the previous solution the Peel Commission offers Jews 55 percent and Palestinians 45 percent of the land. The Arabs will not agree to this, even if 11 countries agree to mediate in the conflict. Arabs created AlA Arab Liberation in Syria to get Palestine back. In 1948, Zionism declared Israel an independent country. This prompted Syria to carry out the first attack on Israel. Syria loses the war and is weakened. This gave rise to the Americans performing their first coup d’etat in Syria. Later the Americans staged a deposition in Iran and Egypt. The Israel-Palestine conflict continued and became the beginning of several wars and gave rise to the Iranian revolution. Later, zealots like Ariel Sharon came to power in Israel. Ariel Sharon was a member of the Zionist militant groups. The young generation of Palestinians lost hope in other Arab countries and even created the first nationalist movement PLO. The PLO is recognized in the Arab League, which was supposed to represent Palestine.
In the beginning, the Israelis were not interested in taking over all of Palestine and the Arab areas but wanted to use the occupied areas to conclude peace agreements with the Arab countries. For example, Israel handed over the occupied territories to Egypt after peace was concluded. As the Israeli population increased, so did illegal settlements that were not recognized by the UN. Settlements result in more Palestinians leaving their homes and fleeing to other countries. The neighboring Arab countries are not interested in this, although Israel wants to minimize the number of Palestinians. In the Oslo Agreement in 1993, Palestine was recognized as self-governing by Israel. Israel gives the PLO Gaza and the West Bank but this agreement is not recognized by all such as the Hamas movement. In 1998, the Palestinian flag was recognized by several countries such as Russia.
