Elections 2024: Mace survives primary challenge in South Carolina

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) was projected to win the Republican primary in the 1st District, according to the Associated Press. Former House speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) backed one of her challengers after Mace was among the eight Republicans who voted to oust McCarthy from his leadership role last year.
