I’m Dennis Maher. I collect objects of inspiration from flea markets, thrift stores and estate sales, and I assemble them within this house I saved from demolition. [MUSIC PLAYING] This is the City Wall Room. Found objects land here first before being absorbed into the house. I excavate through the various layers to build this dream world I live in. This is the Collector’s Book Room. I love to collect books that contain collections. This is the Kitchen Bedroom Gallery, where I display models of new spaces I want to build. Inside the Music Room, sounds from the house resonate upward. [MUSIC CONTINUES] This is the dining nook, which leads into the kitchen. The Wardrobe Room is made from found closet parts, chests, and screens. The Library Globe Room has a circular cut in the floor and the ceiling. The Bridge Room is a great place to sit and read a book. This is the room for the reflected image. Collected objects mirror our lives. This is the Hall of Heads. Thanks for stopping by T Magazine. See you next time.
