During an address Friday marking the 70th anniversary of a landmark Supreme Court case on school desegregation, President Biden took aim at former president Donald Trump and his allies for seeking to curb voting rights and “gut” affirmative action on college campuses. Biden is also scheduled to meet at the White House with leaders of the Divine Nine, a group of historically Black sororities and fraternities. It’s part of a flurry of outreach to Black voters this week.
