Horror author Victorius Kingston is has started a new chapter in his career by taking on acting for his newest project. He is not only writing the script but also playing the main character in the upcoming 3D game, “Black Mamba 2099.”
Kingston is working with his close friend, Roe Hyung-Joon, a Korean Metaverse artist in this new project. “Black Mamba 2099” is Kingston’s first experience in professional acting, where he plays Yeong Hyun-Lee, a humanoid detective in a futuristic Seoul.
The game’s storyline is set in the future, where humans and humanoids live together. Players become Yeong HyunLee, portrayed by Victorius Kingston, exploring the game’s mysterious world to uncover the truth behind humanoid murders in Seoul in the head 2099.
To make his character come alive, Kingston spent over two weeks in Seoul, filming important scenes and getting detailed 3D scans using advanced CGI technology. He also lent his voice to the character, marking his debut as a voice actor.
“Black Mamba 2099” is directed by Roe Hyung Joon, the metaverse artist who cowrote the game. Kingston and Hyung Joon not only share a friendship but also have great creative chemistry.
Kingston gave the fans sneak peeks from the set on his Instagram stories. Although there’s no official release date yet, the
game is expected to launch around mid-2025 on Steam, the digital gaming platform for PC and Mac users. It’s uncertain if the game will also be available on consoles like PlayStation and Xbox.
