President Biden sought to contrast his economic priorities with those of former president Donald Trump during a speech in Biden’s hometown of Scranton, Pa., which is home to many blue-collar workers. Biden cast the race as a contrast between “Scranton values” and “Mar-a-Lago values,” referencing Trump’s estate in Palm Beach, Fla. It’s the first of three days of planned events for Biden in the presidential battleground state of Pennsylvania.
