Considering the online buzz, GTA 6 leaks are all gamers care about these days. They want an update on the trailer, the game’s launch date, and more information about the storyline and the gameplay. But a new leak has revealed some information that may be even more exciting to the fans, especially a certain section of gamers who swear by Nintendo consoles. The predecessor of the highly anticipated game, GTA V, was launched on Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5, and sometimes later, it also was released for PC. However, it was not released on Nintendo Switch. But a new leak claims that GTA 6 might launch on the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console.
The leak comes from a report by Gaming Debates that claims that GTA 6 could launch on all platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2. As per the report, the leak has surfaced from an editor of Universo Nintendo in Brazil who said that the popular title by Rockstar Games can make a debut on the next-gen console by Nintendo. However, it should be said that no official sources have revealed this information, and as of now, it is one of the many unconfirmed rumors around GTA 6, that may or may not come true.
GTA 6 could feature on Nintendo Switch 2?
Despite the lack of concrete evidence, there is some belief in this rumor, as the Nintendo Switch 2 appears to be much more performance-centric than its predecessor. Some reports have suggested that the console, which is expected to be launched in the second half of next year, may feature 12GB RAM, DLSS 3.1, and ray-tracing capabilities. This could make it capable enough to run GTA 6, but we will have to see.
The popularity of Grand Theft Auto also makes it a likely candidate for the Nintendo handheld console, although the company prides itself on its exclusive range of titles such as Pokemon, Legend of Zelda series, Mario Kart, and more. But we have seen plenty of crossovers such as EA Sports FC 24, Marvel’s Spiderman, and others. So, this would not be against the norms either.
Meanwhile, another leak has surfaced that claims that we’d get a first look at GTA 6 on October 26. And not only that but ever since then many others have also come forward, hinting that something big is coming “soon.” Rockstar Games, the company behind GTA, has also added to the excitement by sharing an image of the Vinewood sign, highlighting the letters “V” and “I.” Recently, they quietly updated their company logo, which has fans speculating even more.
