The 15th day of Donald Trump’s criminal trial in Manhattan is expected to start with the former president’s White House assistant back on the stand. Madeleine Westerhout is likely to continue testifying about how she handled Trump’s appointments, contacts and personal checks in his early years of the presidency.
The testimony should be far drier than what the jury heard Thursday, when a combative Stormy Daniels pushed back hard against efforts by Trump’s lawyer to undermine her credibility.
