After delivering stringent remarks condemning the agenda of “MAGA Republicans,” President Biden touted his administration’s victories in Washington over the past few months.
“The cynics and the critics tell us nothing can get done, but they’re wrong,” Biden said. “There is not a single thing America cannot do, not a single thing beyond our capacity. If we do it together, it’s never easy, but we’re proving in America no matter how long, the road to progress does come.”
Biden highlighted recently passed bills that would, among other things, provide better support for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits, lower prescription drug prices, improve gun-safety laws and pump billions into the nation’s roads, bridges, water systems and railroads.
