The chaotic 90 minutes covering Supreme Court appointments, the coronavirus pandemic and election integrity, among other topics, was so marred by personal attacks and crosstalk that the Commission on Presidential Debates added a mute button for the second round. That one, on Oct. 22, 2020, was more civil.
