I’m not much of a fan of natural light. I do believe in artificial interiors — in recreating, in your own environment, some sort of fantasy. I’m a sweet vampire. We all end up collecting the kinds of things that we could not afford when we were kids. Milan was not so much an artistic city at the end of the ‘90s. If you were a young kid from the province and you were looking for living examples of stars, you could find them among the designers, among the architects. I was obsessed by Memphis furniture, by Italian designers. Of course, I wanted to have my own muse in my own apartment. And when I think of muses, I think of De Chirico. So, it’s a De Chirico muse, but with the face of Sophia Loren. Thank you for stopping by. I’m going to bed now. But you know what, guys? You’re a bloody nightmare.
